Welcome to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Students’ Corner! This Corner is intended to explain to students of all ages how the FERC regulates energy for the United States. There are many different things to learn about FERC: our history, our Presidentially appointed Commissioners, the energy industries we regulate and our commitment to the environment. What also makes FERC so interesting is the many diverse and interesting individuals we have working here making it possible for you to just turn on a switch and have energy to run TV’s, computers, video games and everything else that needs power.
