Re: National CODIS Conference
November 15-17, 2004

The CODIS Unit at the Federal Bureau of Investigation is pleased to announce that the National CODIS Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, VA on November 15-17, 2004. As in the past, there is no registration fee.

Registration is open to CODIS users and the general public, but it is limited to 300 attendees. Priority will go to 1) invited domestic lab CODIS administrators, 2) other users from domestic CODIS labs and users from international CODIS labs, and 3) the general public. It is expected that approximately 75 seats will be available for non?invitation participants.

An announcement of open registration will be sent via Fax Press to all CODIS labs and linked from the CODIS page on the www.fbi.gov site. Participants from domestic CODIS labs may register online via the CODIS Web site on the CJIS WAN in early September 2004. Interested participants from international labs or from the general public may register with a faxed or emailed form (linked from the registration web site) after September 22, 2004 and September 29, 2004 respectively.

Your registration process is complete when you receive a confirmation email containing the detailed instructions for making reservations at the Hyatt Regency which will include the Confirmation Code to use.

To aid in your planning, information on accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City may be found at http://crystalcity.hyatt.com.
