Welcome to the FMS source code server
This is a local implementation of
GForge 3.0, designed to serve the Flexible Modeling System (FMS),
and other major software projects of the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics
Laboratory (GFDL). If you have not already done so, please
register.
Site Usage:
This server is not designed for general open source development.
It serves only projects of the GFDL. Please do not be offended
if your project request is denied. If you wish to find a host
platform for your open source software, please try
SourceForge or
Savannah.
Request software access
The following software packages are limited access. You may request access,
but this does not guarantee approval. In order to request access, you must
be register and be
logged in.

Mailing list archives

Mailing list archives are now available for perusal via the FMS server. At this time, search and reply capabilities are not yet implemented for the new system. Archives are updated once daily.
Anonymous CVS access is disabled

Due to a vulnerability in the Concurrent Versions System (CVS), anonymous CVS access has been disabled until the software can be patched. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Users, please disregard any "user already subscribed to list" emails from majordomo. As a temporary workaround to the majordomo problem, when a user is added to a project, subscription requests for that project's lists are made automatically. Current enrollment is, temporarily, not checked for. Also, please note that mailing list archives are still not available.

At this time, the List tabs for a project are not working properly. As such, mailing list archive and subscription services are temporarily down. Sorry for the inconvenience.

First, our apologies for the outage last week. In the effort to maintain security, we accidentally reconfigured the SSL portion of the site. Second, CVS has been upgraded to version 1.11.15 to patch known security holes. If you experience problems, please e-mail oar.gfdl.fms-server@noaa.gov with any comments.
