The AOML publications database is a compilation of AOML-authored publications dating back to 1985.  The database is configured to allow for searches based upon four main categories (Author, Title, Year, and Keyword) in conjunction with a variety of "publication type" fields (e.g., journals, books, book chapters, etc.).

Author: To view the publication records of a particular AOML author, enter the author's last name in the "Author" field.  As an option, you may also enter the author's first initial in the "Author Initial" field.  The "author initial" feature ensures accuracy in locating publication records in cases where multiple authors share the same last name.  To view all the publications for a particular AOML author, select the "All Categories" field. To view a particular type of publication for an AOML author, select that particular "publication type" field.

Title: To view publication records in cases where the title is known, enter a few words of the title in the "title" field in conjunction with any or all of the "publication type" fields.

Year: To view publication records grouped according to a particular year, enter a year (1985 through 2002) in the "year" field in conjunction with any or all of the "publication type" fields. Date ranges can be selected by using a dash ('-') as a separator. Example:

1. 1993-1995 will retrieve all records from Jan 1st, 1993 to Dec 31st, 1995.
2. 1997- will retrieve all records since Jan 1st, 1997 to the current date.

Keywords: To view publication records grouped according to a particular topic, enter a keyword in the "keyword" field in conjunction with any or all of the "publication type" fields.
