EDUCATION AND TRAINING – We have a  Training and Education main page which links to all of our current training offerings. Including:

  • Topical Seminars & Workshops – A topical, hands-on seminar which explores the many facets of Census 2000 data, with emphasis on a subject area of interest.

  • Using Census Statistics – A two-day, hands-on seminar which will explore the many facets of Census 2000 data.

  • Understanding Federal Statistics – Provides a comprehensive look at the entire spectrum of Census Bureau programs and services, including other major statistics-producing federal agencies, and includes hands-on experience in a series of practical exercises.

  • SF1 DVD Tutorial – Follow this web based tutorial for greater ease of use of our SF1 DVD product:   designed for all levels of data users, from the novice to the expert.

  • Foreign Trade Export Regulations Expo – If you truly want to compete in the global marketplace you should attend a U.S. Export Regulations Seminar.  A comprehensive all-day seminar designed to acquaint you with the latest U.S. export regulations and export compliance activities of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Census Bureau-Foreign Trade Division and other federal agencies.

  • Census 2000 Slide Shows – A new series of training modules helps you learn about the newest information available from Census 2000.

  • DataFerrett TutorialLearn how to use this tool and data library that searches and retrieves data across federal, state, and local surveys; executes customized variable recoding, creates complex tabulations and business graphics.
