The Office of the Chief
Financial Officer (CFO) provides budget and management
support to the national NOAA Research organization. In addition
to the this national scope, the office provides day-to-day operation
support for the headquarters unit, providing budget, procurement,
and computer services to this staff of Federal employees and contractors.
National responsibilities include the formulation and execution
of fiscal budgets, constituent and Congressional outreach and education,
human resources management, and many other important functions.
As many changes porliferate throughout the NOAA and NOAA research
organizations, the CFOs office is primed to aid in the organization
and dissemination of information and resources to guide the organization
through these exciting and challenging times. |
