Welcome to the National Climatic Data Center's (NCDC) Historical Significant Events Imagery database (HSEI)!
In here you will find hundreds of selected satellite images capturing some of the more important weather
and environmental events over the last 30 years.
To get started, click on the What's New, Quick Search or Most Popular buttons at the left.
From Quick Search, you can search for images of a specific type of event
for the date range you desire. You will then see a list of resulting images, from which you can
view/download the image files to your computer for free, or you can order hardcopy matte or glossy finish
prints.
