The Director of the Office of Public Affairs serves as spokesperson for not only the CIA, but also the U.S. Intelligence Community.  The Director reports directly to the DCI and provides public affairs support to the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) and his Deputy (DDCI) in both their CIA and Intelligence Community roles and is their senior advisor for media and public policy issues.

The Director oversees the daily operations of the Office of Public Affairs as it performs its missions of communicating with the media, the general public, and the CIA’s work force. The Director of the Office of Public Affairs is Mark Mansfield.
