FOIA/Privacy Act Positions Available at Federal Agencies

The Office of Information and Privacy has learned of the following Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act-related positions that are currently available at federal agencies:

• The Transportation Security Administration of the Department of Homeland Security is looking for an Associate Director of its Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act Division. • The Office of Information and Privacy is looking for full- or part-time FOIA Specialists, to be hired under the Student Career Experience Program, who will learn the intricacies of the FOIA and the Privacy Act, conduct research, and write narrative analyses. Applicants through this program must be enrolled as degree-seeking students currently taking classes at a college or university, with a grade point average of 2.5 or better. The position is at the GS-5 or GS-7 level, depending upon whether the applicant is attending college or is a graduate student.
