Residential Improvements and Repairs Statistics

Effective with the first quarter of 2004, this survey no longer tabulates major replacements separately from other types of improvements. As a result, data in Table 2 that was previously tabulated as "Major Replacements" is now included in the two columns of "Alterations to Housing Structures" and "Other Property Improvements." This new classification system can be compared to the previous system by the following PDF link.
