The Office of Computer Services (OCS) in the Office of the Chief Information Officer of the Department of Commerce , is a leading information technology service provider, serving the technology infrastructure needs of organizations within the Department of Commerce and other Federal agencies on a competitively priced basis.  On a 24x7 basis, Office of Computer Services manages and maintains a secure computer center environment to house and protect its technology resources and the data entrusted by its customers.  Under the Franchise Fund charter granted to it under the Government Management Reform Act of 1994, OCS is open to meet any Federal organization's requirements for information technology, administrative and financial management services.

Office of Computer Services's Mission is to provide a secure and competitively priced technology environment to government clients within the U.S. Department of Commerce and other federal agencies on a cost reimbursable basis. Our Focus is on providing a customer service orientation for our government clients to receive quality technology support for their products. Our strategic business partnerships with other government agencies and private sector vendors and contractors, ease the impact of federal government offices working alone to manage the technology infrastructure and provide for the management of software and hardware.
