Search for Rolling Meadows Bank Robber
Continues
Thomas J. Kneir, Special Agent in Charge of
the Chicago office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is asking
for the public's help in identifying and locating the individual depicted in
the attached photographs, who is responsible for the May 19th robbery of the
Harris Bank branch, located at 1951 Plum Grove Road in Rolling Meadows.
According to witnesses, the robber entered the bank just before noon,
approached a teller and handed her a note announcing a robbery. Although the
note implied that he was armed, no weapon was displayed and no injuries were
reported. After obtaining an as yet undetermined amount of cash, the robber
fled the area on foot, last seen running north on Plum Grove Road.
This same individual is also suspected in the April 28th robbery of a
LaSalle Bank branch, located at 1355 West Lake Cook Road in Buffalo Grove,
Illinois.
The robber is described as a white/male, 20 - 30 years of age, 5'10" - 6'0"
tall, medium build, with shoulder length blonde hair. His complexion is
described as ruddy with noticeable acne.
Both robberies are being investigated jointly by the FBI's Rolling Meadows
office, along with the Buffalo Grove and Rolling Meadows Police Departments.
Anyone recognizing this individual or having any information about either
robbery is asked to call the FBI at (847) 290-0525.
