"Night Stalker Bandit" Strikes Again

Thomas J. Kneir, Special Agent in Charge of the Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is asking for the public's help in identifying the individual dubbed the "Night Stalker Bandit."  This individual is believed to be responsible for the robbery of four (4) Chicago banks in the past four weeks.

The most recent robbery occurred last night at the TCF Bank branch located at 4042 W. Foster in Chicago.  The robber approached the teller and, as he has in the past, handed her a note announcing the robbery and demanding money.  Although his note implied he was armed, no weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.  After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the robber fled the bank on foot.  Last direction of travel was not determined.

The robber is described as Male/Hispanic, 25 years of age, 5'9" tall, 170-185 pounds, and clean-shaven.

The suspected robber also is believed to be responsible for robbing the TCF bank branches at the following locations:  4355 North Sheridan on October 29th, 1210 North Clark on October 23rd, and 55296 North Clark on October 17th.

Anyone with information about any of these robberies is asked to call the FBI at (312) 431-1333.  (Photographs of the "Night Stalker Bandit" can be obtained from the FBI Public Affairs Office at (312) 786-2645.)
