September 24, 2002 Two Glenwood Brothers Arrested in Child Pornography Investigation Thomas J. Kneir, Special Agent in Charge of the Chicago office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced today the arrest of KEITH LAWRENCE WILLIS, age 47 and KEVIN LEE WILLIS, age 41, who both reside at 831 East Glenwood-Lansing Road in Glenwood, Illinois. Both men were arrested this morning, without incident, at their residence by FBI Special Agents, Cook County Sheriff's Investigators and Officers from the Glenwood Police department for possession of child pornography. Both men were charged in a criminal complaint filed this afternoon in U.S. District Court in Chicago with one count each of possession of child pornography, which is a felony offense. According to the complaint, video tapes, 8mm tapes and photo albums with still pictures, all containing images of children in sexually explicit poses, were discovered by investigators during a search of the Willis residence. Additionally, a personal computer suspected of containing over 5000 pornographic images was also seized from the residence and is currently being examined by forensic computer experts. Both men appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Morton Denlow in Chicago this afternoon and were ordered held without bond, pending their next scheduled court appearance on Friday. If convicted, both men face up to 5 years incarceration. In announcing these arrests, SAC Kneir wishes to acknowledge both the Cook County Sheriff's office and the Glenwood Police department for their invaluable assistance in this investigation. The public is reminded that a complaint is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in a criminal case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
