Dean Martin was born as Dino Crocetti on June 17, 1917, in Steubenville, Ohio. Prior to becoming an actor /comedian, he worked as a laborer in steel mills, a gas station attendant, a boxer, and a dealer in an illegal gambling house. Dean Martin, a Hollywood Screen Actor and singer, supposedly made an obscene recording at Paramount studios in Hollywood, California. The obscene portion of the recording was supposed to have been destroyed, but someone unknown made a recording of it and was distributing it in the Los Angeles area. The source tried to obtain a copy of the recording, but was unable to locate it at the recording studio, but was able to locate a copy from another source.
Martin was supposed to own shares in gaming houses in Las Vegas, Nevada and Lake Tahoe. Dean Martin sold 8,000 shares of stock in the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas. Martin was the victim of an extortion attempt in 1971. |
