Bolingbrook Bank Robbery Solved

Kathleen L. McChesney, Special Agent in Charge of the Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced today that charges have been filed against RAY ARCHIE, age 43, whose last known address was in Newark, New Jersey. ARCHIE was charged in a criminal complaint filed yesterday in U.S. District Court in Chicago with the November 6, 2000 robbery of the West Suburban Bank branch located at 1104 Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois.

ARCHIE is currently being held in the Will County Jail in Joliet, Illinois, for investigation of several unrelated armed robberies. A court date for ARCHIE to answer these charges has not yet been set.

The FBI was assisted in this investigation by the Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County Sheriff's Office.
