FBI SEEKS PUBLIC'S HELP IN LOCATING THE "HOLIDAY ROBBER"

Kathleen L. McChesney, Special Agent in Charge of the Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Terry G. Hillard, Superintendent of the Chicago Police Department (CPD) are asking the public's help in locating REGINALD D. JOHNSON, of Chicago for a string of bank robberies. A criminal complaint has been filed charging JOHNSON with three (3) counts of bank robbery.

JOHNSON has been charged in the November 21st and November 29th robberies of the BANK ONE located at 122 W. 79th Street in Chicago and the December 16th robbery of the BANK ONE Located at 1968 Sibly Blvd in Calumet City.

JOHNSON has been dubbed the "Holiday Robber" and is believed to be responsible for eleven (11) bank robberies between Mid-November and late December in the Chicagoland area. He is described as a black/male , 6'1", and 43 years of age.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of JOHNSON is asked to call the FBI at 312-431-1333.

The public is also reminded that a complaint is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in a criminal case are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
