This package of the Original Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (OKKKK) was processed from the Louisiana file of the OKKKK. The OKKKK in Louisiana had hooded men guarding the gates into the meetings and men on horseback circling the lots where these meetings were being held. A white man was taken and beaten with a belt by a group of hooded men who accused him of having Negroes at his house. The man acknowledged having a group of men come to his house to play music, but denied that any of them were black. On January 26, 1965, the Original Ku Klux Klan of America, Incorporated filed a charter for the organization in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On March 13, 1965, the OKKKK would hold a rally at 7:00 p.m., in Hamburg, Arkansas. The group in charge of the meeting was from Louisiana.
