On April 3, 1937, Richard Milhous Nixon, while at Duke Law school, Durham, North Carolina applied for a position with the FBI. Nixon was born on January 9, 1913, in Yorba Linda, California. Mr. Nixon was applying for a position as a Special Agent. His appointment was canceled on August 15, 1937. Vice President Richard M. Nixon addressed the graduation of the 53rd Session of the FBI National Academy class on June 11, 1954.
