CHANGES IN FILING PROCEDURES

The night boxes in all divisions are closed until further notice. Pleadings hand-filed or received via overnight mail before 10:00 a.m. will be back-dated to the previous day.

Court security officers will not allow couriers to proceed to the Intake Section with sealed envelopes. Any sealed envelopes will be placed with the incoming mail to be processed, and will likely not be filed until the following day. All documents that need to be filed that day should not be brought to the Court in a sealed envelope or in any packaging that would prevent the Court Security Officers from easily viewing the contents without physically removing them from their containers.

Changes in procedures by the United States Postal Service, other private carriers, and this Court may result in abnormal delays in both delivery and processing times. Documents that are subject to filing deadlines or that are otherwise time-sensitive should be mailed sufficiently in advance of their due date to account for these delays.
