Multihazard Information Platform (MIP) Status Update: Upcoming Releases

FEMA's Multihazard Information Platform (MIP) provides stakeholders with a state-of-the-art geospatial infrastructure that will enable all-hazard mapping. Through phased releases, the MIP will provide easy access to the latest flood hazard data and maps via the Internet. The application features a geospatial data viewer and provides access to other engineering, mapping, and program tools. The system will allow for multiple participants to use and contribute data.

The following is an update on what users may expect to see on the MIP this fall, starting in late September. If you would like additional information about the Mapping Tools and other future MIP features, we encourage you to click on the links embedded in the text below to download the fact sheets provided.
