USJFCOM's role in integration, interoperability, & requirements

Image of Marines setting up a communications attenaBeing part of a winning sports team requires each player to understand the rules of the game. Team strategies are developed and tested.

Special communications signals are developed for use on the field. And the entire team understands the capabilities of each player -who runs the fastest, who catches a ball better, etc.

New players or equipment must be integrated with the rest of the team. New strategies must improve existing ones in the playbook, or work with those already devised. A winning team understands that it is the combination of these elements that ensure victory.

USJFCOM is the team captain for integrating U.S. military capabilities, ensuring our strategies and systems are interoperable, and vetting new requirements with the Department of Defense.
