Candidate Countries

The MCC CEO submits to Congress a report containing the list of countries that meet the income qualifications and a list that are ineligible to receive assistance under the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 or other applicable legislation. By law, this report must be submitted to the appropriate congressional committees and published in the Federal Register not later than 90 days before the MCC Board selects eligible countries. The FY04 report  and the FY05 Report are both available on the Web site. |
