Navy Transitions to New Fighter Aircraft

Sensors Offer ‘Persistent Stare’ Capability
WASHINGTON, Oct. 13, 2004 – Commanders in Iraq and Afghanistan are praising the “persistent stare” capability of raised sensors for viewing terrain a good distance away from fixed Army locations.
