Sim Aberson's Summary of G-IV synoptic surveillance results are made available.

Dr. Mark Powell's Nature paper on drag coefficients in hurricane force winds is published.

February 2003

Mike Black and James Franklin's Weather and Forecasting paper on hurricane eyewall wind profiles is released.

January 2003

The Fifth International Workshop on Tropical Cyclones takes place in Cairns, Australia.
Frank Marks reports to Dave Rogers on HRD's Strategic Vision.

New HRD Website design is brought on line.

July 2001

Begin designing of new HRD Website to match new AOML template. JAVA script menus are added.

January 2000

HRD Website receives facelift. Pages given a cleaner look and frames version of Mission Catalog (formerly Storm Atlas) is discarded.

HRD Website reorganized, Table of Contents and list of links are added.
