Mission Statement:

The Mission of the National Hurricane Center Technical Library is to ensure the delivery of scientific, technical, and legislative information to users. The library's users include NOAA staff, government agencies, academia, industries, and general public.

Introduction:

The NOAA Miami Regional Library is a branch of the Library and Information Services Division, Central Library in Silver Spring, Maryland. There are two libraries in the Miami Branch: one located at the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and the other located at the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) . The following information concerns the NHC location.

Library Hours:

The library doors are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to the NOAA staff. The library is open to the public by appointment for reference use only. Library services are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
