Welcome to the 2005 Particle Accelerator Conference, the 21st in this series. This conference will cover new developments in all aspects of the science, technology, and use of accelerators. The conference is open to the public, and all individuals interested in particle accelerators are invited to attend.
PAC05 is being hosted by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory Spallation Neutron Source and Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility.
The United Nations has declared 2005 the “World Year of Physics” (WYP 2005). Timed to coincide with the centennial celebration of Albert Einstein's "miraculous year," PAC05 is an official event of WYP 2005.
