Washington, DC – Today, the House of Representatives passed the Uyghur Policy Act (H.R. 4785) with overwhelming bipartisan support to help the United States take concrete steps to support the human rights of Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR).
Washington, DC – President Biden signed into law the Global Malnutrition Prevention and Treatment Act (H.R. 4693), a bipartisan bill by U.S. Representative Young Kim (CA-39), House Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking Member Michael McCaul (TX-10), Chair Gregory Meeks (NY-05) and Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (PA-10) to advance targeted, evidence-based interventions for the prevention and treatment of global malnutrition.
