  • "I was waiting for a long time for the IRS to assign someone to audit my case regarding interest income, and that's when I decided to contact Rep. Susie Lee's office. The office quickly started working and ensured that my case was reviewed by the Taxpayer Advocate Service right away. I had never contacted my Congressional office before, and I'm glad that I did. If I hadn't reached out, I would probably still have been waiting to hear back from the IRS. Rep. Susie Lee's office is doing diligent work to ensure that her constituents are taken care of." -Kenneth Green

I applied for Agent Orange disability benefits through the VA over two years ago but never received a response. When I contacted Rep. Susie Lee's office, I was impressed with the timeliness with which the office addressed the issue. I received an almost immediate response from the VA, which was a relief after waiting for so long. • I lost almost everything in the hurricane, leaving what was once my home with just a couple of suitcases of belongings. I qualified for federal housing assistance but wasn’t making progress. I filled out the applications. I provided the extensive documentation. You know that feeling of dread you get when you have to make a phone call you know will take an hour or more without the hope of a result by the time you hang up? I called so many times for help or an update with my case. After over three months of spinning my wheels, I reached out to Susie’s office for help. I had results within about 2 weeks from submitting her online form. I am so thankful to Susie and her staff for helping me obtain FEMA housing assistance as I piece my new life together in Nevada.” -Hurricane Ida Survivor
