Military Academy Nominations

Thank you for your interest in serving our nation’s military. I have the honor of nominating exceptional constituents to our nation’s military service academies.

To gain admission to one of our nation’s service academies, you must apply to the school like you would for any college or university, you must pass a physical aptitude test, and you must also obtain a nomination from my office or the office of one of Washington’s United States Senators.

Please be advised that my office recommends that you start your admissions process with your desired service academy or academies as well as the Congressional nomination process as soon as possible.

My office can nominate several candidates each year to the following service academies:

Nomination to a service academy is a great honor, and one that should be taken with the understanding that you will be obligated to serve for four or five years after graduation.

My nomination process opens on May 2, 2022. All application materials must be received at my District office by October 31, 2022.
