Appropriation Request

Programmatic and Community Project Funding Requests have closed for FY23 Appropriations. Congresswoman Schrier has announced 15 Community Projects that she is submitting to the House Appropriations Committee for further funding consideration. You may view the submitted projects here.

Programmatic Requests for fy23 appropriations

Every year, Congress is responsible for allocating overall funding for offices, programs, and grants administered by the federal government. As your Representative, Rep. Schrier has the opportunity to advocate on behalf of programs that are important to Washington’s 8th Congressional District. For example, if your local fire department benefits from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)’s Assistance to Firefighters Grants, Rep. Schrier can advocate to maintain or increase the total funding for these grants.

If your organization receives these funds, please fill out this form with your requests for programmatic funding, bill, or report language. Please note that appropriations requests cannot guarantee funding for any specific entity or project, and are separate from individual grant requests. Requests must comply with all current House rules.

If you have multiple requests, please submit a separate form for each request. All Programmatic Funding requests must be submitted by April 10, 2022 at 10:00 p.m. P.T.

For assistance with this form please call the Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-7761.
