Community Project Funding

To meet the needs of communities across the country, the Appropriations Committee accepts programmatic, language-based and Community Project Funding requests from Members of Congress.

Rep. Calvert believes it is important to be transparent and publicly disclose information on any Community Project Funding request he submits. In addition to the description of each project, information is provided about the proposed recipient, the amount of funding requested, and an explanation of why it is a valuable use of taxpayer funds. Letters of support for each project are also included, as well as a letter from Rep. Calvert certifying that he does not have a financial interest.
