COVID-19 Vaccine Information

The Biden Administration set a goal of 100 million shots in arms within the first 100 days of his presidency. They doubled that goal and administered 200 million shots by President Biden's 92nd day in office. We are on the path getting everyone vaccinated as quickly as possible. More than 4 million New Jerseyans have already been vaccinated and that number continues to grow every day. The American Rescue Plan includes over $20 billion to establish a national COVID-19 vaccination program and improves the administration and distribution of vaccinations, including $7.5 billion for FEMA to establish vaccination sites across the country. Below you will find information on current eligibility and where to register for an appointment.

As you may know, New Jersey is administering vaccines to residents in phases. You can find more detail on who is currently eligible for vaccines at the New Jersey state website here. State and County portals where you can register for the vaccine are listed below, which will notify you when you are eligible for an appointment.

As of April 19, all individuals aged 16 and older who live, work, or study in New Jersey are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines.

You can also register for an appointment through medical providers throughout the state and through pharmacies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid.

This process will continue to require patience as the number of appointments for vaccinations may be limited by factors like the number of vaccine doses received each week by the state of New Jersey and the number of frontline workers available to administer shots. Governor Murphy recently announced New Jersey is now receiving almost 500,000 doses a week from the federal government, allowing them to include the number of appointments available.

Registration portals and other resources from the state of New Jersey and the counties about vaccines can be found below. You should also monitor information from your healthcare provider as appropriate to determine their capacity for vaccine appointments and sign up processes.
