In 1982, Congress established an art competition to showcase the talents of our nation’s young artists. Each spring, thousands of high school students from around the country participate for the opportunity to have their work displayed prominently in the tunnels and walkways of the U.S. Capitol Building. This year our district had amazing artists participate from BASIS Phoenix – Scottsdale, Brophy Prep, Chaparral High School, Desert Mountain High School, Pinnacle High School and Scottsdale Prep.
