Congresswoman Matsui advocated for and secured this funding as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Bipartisan Infrastructure Law) that was signed by President Biden late last year. This funding builds on the $285 million she secured this year, and the over $3 billion she has secured during her time in Congress for the region.
