Protecting Reproductive Freedom

Like many of you, I am angry and upset by the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the constitutional right to an abortion. While Roe v. Wade has been the law of the land for nearly 50 years, decades of coordinated, cruel attacks have finally realized Republicans’ goal of ripping away women’s right to make their own reproductive health decisions. 

Make no mistake, abortion remains legal in California. For the last five years, providers across our state have been expanding capacity and scaling up services in preparation of this decision. 

Remember, you have every right to access reproductive health care. And until the Senate votes to pass federal protections for abortion rights, we will fight to safeguard reproductive freedom, including access to abortion and contraception.  Tell me how you feel about access to abortion and reproductive healthcare below:
