District

The Congressman’s Congressional offices in Long Branch and New Brunswick offer internships to eligible college students and individuals transitioning to a graduate program, and occasionally, high school students.  Our offices are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays.  Interns are expected to work between 8 and 20 hours per week.

District staff work as liaisons between the Congressman's constituency and federal agencies to resolve issues that constituents are experiencing.  District Office interns’ main responsibility is to support the District Office staff on a daily basis. Please be aware that District staff and interns do not handle legislation or policy issues.
