Don't forget to register for our Town Hall on the Fight to Protect Reproductive Freedom this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. I will provide an update on Democrats' action to protect the right to choose and will be joined by experts from Planned Parenthood California and Berkeley School of Law who will provide their expertise.
Don't forget to register for our virtual Fire Safety Town Hall on Wednesday, August 10th at 1:00 p.m. for tips on emergency preparedness and to discuss the work that is being done on both the federal and state level to mitigate wildfires. Representatives from FEMA Region 9, Cal OES Fire, and Contra Costa Fire Protection District will join us to share their expertise.
As we see more severe fires more frequently in California, it is essential to be prepared in case of an emergency.

One in five young people experience mental illness of some kind, a figure that has been exacerbated by the pandemic. To do our part to help, we will be hosting a Town Hall on the Growing Youth Mental Health Crisis July 25th at 6 p.m. I will be joined by special guest, Vicki Harrison, Program Director of Stanford University's Center for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing who will offer her expertise and help to answer your questions.
