Parsippany, NJ–– The Office of Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) is hosting a Telephonic Veterans' Claims Clinic on Monday, March 21, 9:00 AM - 5:00PM.
A representative from the VA Newark Regional Office will be available by telephone to help veterans and their families file new claims, check status of existing claims, and answer questions about veterans benefits. This event is open to veterans, active service members, reservists, and family members with claims or are interested in learning more about benefits.
On Monday, February 7 at 5:15 PM, Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) will hold a telephone town hall. The event will be focused on the ongoing mental health challenges related to the pandemic and Rep. Sherrill will be joined by a panel of mental health and medical experts to help answer questions from residents.
Residents are invited to register at sherrill.house.gov/live. Registered residents will receive a call shortly before the event which will allow them to listen in and ask questions.
Parsippany, NJ–– Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11)'s office is hosting a Get Covered NJ Enrollment Webinar on January 11, 2022 at 6 PM to help residents navigate registering for the state's health insurance marketplace. New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance Commissioner Marlene Caride will join to give an overview of the program and application process before taking questions from residents.
The deadline to register for Get Covered NJ is January 31, 2022 for coverage to begin February 1.
On Tuesday, November 23 at 6:00 PM, Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) will hold a telephone town hall meeting. Rep. Sherrill will be joined by a panel of experts, including special guest Deputy Administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration Amit Bose.

Speakers from the US Department of Education and NJ Higher Education Student Assistance Authority will give presentations and answer questions from participants.

Parsippany, NJ — Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) will hold a telephone town hall meeting on Wednesday, July 7 at 5:00 PM, to discuss pandemic recovery efforts, including the American Rescue Plan, the upcoming infrastructure package, repealing the SALT cap, and other recovery-related topics. Rep. Sherrill will be joined by local economic, municipal and medical experts who will help answer questions from residents.
The Office of Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill is hosting a tax resources for residents to ask questions and get answers from the experts.
The lineup includes speakers from the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service, United Way of Northern NJ, and the New Jersey Division of Taxation.

Parsippany, NJ -- Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) will hold her first town hall meeting of 2021 virtually on Thursday, January 28th, focusing on the COVID-19 vaccine and New Jersey's distribution plans. Representative Sherrill will be joined by local officials who will provide information about the vaccination process in New Jersey and help answer questions from residents. Representative Sherrill will also give an update on what she has been doing to support the COVID-19 vaccination efforts in New Jersey and the new plans from the Biden administration.
The Inauguration ceremony of President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
The ceremony is likely to be significantly different from past inaugurations due to public health precautions made necessary by the coronavirus pandemic. Rep. Sherrill's office has no information about the inaugural ceremonies at this time, but has created this page to accept and track requests for tickets to attend the Inauguration.
