Visiting the Capitol and White House serve as the pinnacle of every trip to D.C. – from school visits to family vacations. My office is always available to assist with scheduling your visit, and my staff would be happy to give you a personal tour!
Due to limitations put in place by Speaker Pelosi and President Biden, capacity is limited and only a small number of tickets are available each day. Unfortunately, this means that all tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Please let us know as early as possible to maximize your chances. Please also note that House rules permit us to only serving constituents in Tennessee’s first district.
Here is the process for requesting tickets through my office:
Capitol Tours:
Capitol tours run Monday through Friday, 9:00AM – 3:00PM.
Please email tours.harshbarger@mail.house.gov with your requested dates, times, and party size. If my staff is unable to secure tour tickets for you, I would love to visit with you in my office, if my voting and committee work schedule permit. Please inform my staff if you would like to do this, and they will let you know if that is possible.
White House Tours
White House Tours run Friday and Saturday.
Please email tours.harshbarger@mail.house.gov with your requested dates and party size. For security screening purposes, the White House requires a minimum of 25 days' notice. Please note that beyond submitting your information, all processing is done internally by the White House. Due to extremely high volumes of requests, a confirmation or denial usually arrives 1-2 weeks prior to your requested dates.
