Tours and Tickets

Washington, D.C. is like no other city in the world. Specifically designed to serve as the nation's Capital by French architect Pierre L'Enfant, it is also home to some of the greatest cultural and historical attractions in the world. To help you make your visit to our nation's Capital a memorable one, I suggest that you pay a visit to the House's Guide to Washington D.C. In addition, I am available to help residents of New York's 12th Congressional District attain tickets to tour certain federal attractions in Washington. My office is happy to assist with scheduling tours of the Capitol building, White House and Bureau of Engraving and Printing at the Library of Congress.

For the White House:

Public tours of the White House are available from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. All White House tours are free of charge. The White House tour schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or official use.

Congresswoman Maloney’s office must receive your tour request no later than 21 days before your requested dates, and no sooner than 90 days prior, in keeping with past requirements on White House Tour scheduling. Please note that the availability of tickets is very limited. Groups requesting a tour cannot request a specific tour time nor can tour times be changed after they are confirmed.

For the Capitol:

Congresswoman Maloney’s office is happy to arrange tours of Capitol for constituents. Additionally, as of May 25th, 2022 groups can book tours directly through the Capitol Visitor Centers website: https://www.visitthecapitol.gov/plan-visit.

If your tour is confirmed, you will receive an email from the Capitol Visitor Center with a confirmation number to pick up passes at the Visitor Center. Plan to arrive 30-45 minutes early to allow for airport-like security. For the Bureau of Engraving and Printing:

As of May 25th, 2022 the Bureau remains closed to tours. You can find more information on the status of these tours at https://www.bep.gov/visitor-centers.
