"Denying diplomas to otherwise qualified Midshipmen based solely on COVID-19 vaccination status would not only be a waste of our country's four-year investment in Midshipmen who are eager to serve our nation but could disrupt military readiness in a year that every branch had trouble recruiting," said Congressman Steube. "The U.S. Naval Academy must provide full transparency of their process to deny diplomas due to the absurd COVID-19 vaccination mandate, including details of cases where Midshipmen's religious exemption requests were also denied."

"Now that more information has been released, let us take time to recognize the victims of the tragedy that unfolded this weekend in Colorado Springs, as well as those who acted heroically and saved the lives of others.   Ashley Paugh, Kelly Loving, Raymond Green, Daniel Davis Aston, and Derrick Rump lost their lives during this senseless act of violence, and will be greatly missed. Twenty-five others were injured. And it is hoped they have a speedy recovery.  I am grateful for the swift reaction from members of law enforcement, our first responders, and hospitals.  We all should continue to pray for everyone affected by this horrible situation. Everyone should feel safe in our community. Colorado is a wonderful place to live, and the outpouring of support for the victims' families shows just that."

“This year, the United Nations will consider resolutions that could finally terminate two anti-Israel United Nations bodies: the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP) and the Division of Palestinian Rights (DPR),” said Congressional Israel Allies Caucus Co-Chairman Congressman Doug Lamborn. “These two institutions are uniquely nefarious among UN bodies, serve only to undermine the state of Israel, and undercut constructive pathways to peace.
