Member Designated Transportation Projects
Federal highway and public transportation programs are funded through multi-year surface transportation authorization acts. The current act expired on September 30, 2021. The House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure Committee has announced plans to advance a surface transportation reauthorization bill. The Committee invited members to submit district-based transportation and infrastructure projects for consideration. All submissions are posted to allow for public transparency. Members will be required to certify that neither they nor their immediate family have a financial interest in the requests made.
