Veteran Services & Resources
The mission of the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs is to provide numerous services and benefits to veterans and their families. Some of those services include employment assistance, healthcare coverage, higher education assistance, treatment for service-related injuries, and burials in national cemeteries designated for veterans. If you are a Valley Veteran of California's 16th Congressional District, and having trouble with a case, email or call my Fresno Office for assistance at (559) 495-1620.

Veteran Benefits
The U.S. Veteran Benefits Administration offers assistance and benefits to spouses, children, and parents of service members and veterans who are deceased or permanently disabled due to a service-connected disability.
Veteran Health Care
The Veteran Health Administration is the largest American integrated health care system and it annually serves nine million enrolled veterans. Eligible veterans have access to primary care, services, and treatment. Learn more on how to apply for health care benefits here.
- Community Care - Eligible veterans can access healthcare at the right place and from the right provider. In some cases, veterans may receive care from a local community care provider, covered by the VA.
Burials and Memorials
The VA honors our deceased veterans by providing memorial items and burial benefits to their families, to honor their military service. An eligible spouse or other family member buried in a national cemetery, or certain other Veterans or military cemeteries, may also qualify for a headstone or marker to identify the place of burial. Families may also apply for burial flags, markers, medallions, Presidential Memorial Certificates, and veterans' headstones.
