Appropriations Request

Rep. Harder’s goal in Congress is to fight for the priorities of the Central Valley. Too often the Central Valley is left behind when it comes to federal funding, which means our communities don’t always receive the investments they deserve. As a member of the House Appropriations Committee, Rep. Harder is working to change that by bringing more federal dollars back to the Central Valley and making sure that local voices are heard in the spending decisions made in Washington.

Appropriations Requests: The Appropriations Process is the annual process through which Congress allocates funds to a wide range of programs. Rep. Harder believes this process should be open and transparent to his constituents and welcomes your input on program funding allocations that would have a positive impact on the district. Your suggestions will help Rep. Harder advocate for the programs that best serve the needs of our community.

The deadline to submit all FY23 appropriations requests is 11:59pm PST, Friday, April 15 2022.
