Food Assistance

If you need access to food resources or have questions related to qualifying for SNAP benefits, call Hunger Solutions Food HelpLine that is available by phone at 1-888-711-1151 or online here: Find Help Map. The HelpLine offers translation in multiple languages. Use the Find Help Map to search for food shelves, senior resources, free meals, and discount groceries closest to you. Additionally, check out the Meals for Kids Map. These resources are being updated daily by Hunger Solutions MN.

It is recommended to both apply for SNAP and utilize food banks where possible and when needed. Below are some additional links referring to SNAP and other helpful food assistance programs:

Grocery Delivery Options:

  • Metro Council

    • Certified Metro Mobility and existing Transit Link customers can now access a Metro Transit grocery and household essentials pick-up service. Supplies can be ordered online and picked up and delivered to your home free of charge. More information can be found here.
