WASHINGTON — Congressmen Jared Golden (ME-02) and Mike Turner (OH-10) sent a bipartisan letter this week to urge congressional leadership to include a reauthorization of the Health Coverage Tax Credit (HCTC) in any end of year tax extenders legislation.

Washington, D.C.—U.S. Senators Susan Collins and Angus King and U.S. Representatives Chellie Pingree and Jared Golden welcomed a $5 million planning grant for the Passamaquoddy Tribe to respond to climate-related environmental threats.  The grant was awarded through the U.S. Department of the Interior’s newly announced Voluntary Community-Driven Relocation program and funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) released a statement today following his vote against H. Res. 100 and his vote for H. Con. Res. 119. H. Res. 100 would force a labor agreement on rail unions that have not yet ratified it. H. Con. Res. 119, would provide for seven paid sick days for affected rail workers. 

WASHINGTON —  Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) today shared that USDA Rural Development awarded a loan of $2,750,000 and a grant of $1,250,000 million to the town of Blue Hill for upgrades and repairs to their wastewater treatment plant. The funding would go towards much-needed repairs to the facility that the congressman has been working with local leaders to secure for the past year.
