Chicago, IL – Today, U.S. Representative Newman formally closed her Bridgeview Satellite Office, co-located at the Bridgeview Community Center at 7902 S. Oketo Avenue in Bridgeview, Illinois. This additional office location was intended to ensure all residents of IL-03 had access to Representative Newman and vital constituent services. Residents may continue receiving services at the Chicago District Office located at 6245 S. Archer Avenue in Chicago.

Additionally, Representative Newman announced that the Chicago District Office will close to the public on Friday, October 14. District office staff will remain accessible for in-person consultations and constituent services until that time. After October 14, district office staff will only be accessible via email or telephone. To see which services remain available, please click here.

Finally, in anticipation of Representative Newman’s final months in Congress, the district office has begun to limit the intake of long-term constituent services. Issues or casework involving the following agencies will no longer be accepted: Internal Revenue Service (IRS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), or the Social Security Administration (SSA). Casework involving the U.S. Postal Service or Passport services will continue to be received on a case-by-case basis, but constituents are highly encouraged to seek assistance with Senators Durbin or Duckworth.
