Overall Winner and 1st Place by Medium - Collage: “Sunny”

Caya Asbille, Seabreeze High School
Description: My artwork shows my dog, Sunny. The medium of collage inspired me to do a blocker looking piece and my dog was the perfect candidate. Art means a lot to me as it allows me to relax and take a break from the world. During school, art class has a similar effect, allowing me to take a break from academics and ley my creative side takeover so I feel more relaxed when I do go back to an academic class.

Description: In this piece I depict a man reaching into a pool, I use fore shortening to draw your eyes to the focal point.  I also limited my color pallet to cool colors, so the man & sun stick out to catch your eyes.
