Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, Vice Chair

Congresswoman McBath serves as Vice Chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, and one of her first legislative actions as a Member of Congress was co-sponsoring H.R 8, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act, which passed the U.S. House of Representatives in February 2019.

Congressional Caucus for Women's Issues, Vice Chair

Congresswoman McBath was selected as a Vice Chair of the bipartisan Women's Caucus for the 117th Congress. Since 1977, the Congressional Caucus for Women's Issues has brought together members from both sides of the aisle to work in a bipartisan fashion to advance the policy priorities of women in Congress.
